Our Chapter Advisors
Grace Hnizdil is the primary academic counselor for the Kansas State volleyball, cross country and track and field teams assisting with coordinating support services, continuing education, and academic degree progress. Hnizdil earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Kansas State in 2010 and later earned her Master’s in Counseling and Student Development from K-State in 2012. Prior to her time at K-State, Hnizdil served as an academic counselor at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill for two years. She served in a similar capacity at Western Carolina from 2012-16.
Mom Judy hails from Beattie, KS, and holds a BS in Accounting from Kansas State University, a MA in Christian Leadership from Asbury Theological Seminary, and a certificate in Non-Profit Management from Washburn University. She has worked in manufacturing, construction, banking, retail, and real estate management. At Washburn University’s Center for Community and Civic Engagement, she discovered her love of working with young adults. Mom Judy spent three years at a women’s cooperative house before coming to Pi Kappa Phi in Fall 2021. She works on keeping the house in good repair while doing the work she really loves - acting as Mom to this houseful of young men. Mom Judy has three sons of her own who have given her eight lovely grandchildren. She is also active in her church and the Manhattan community.
